Happy New Year and Merry Christmas

Among all the best wishes for the coming year 2012, I'd like to emphasize the wish not to be affected by the historic turmoil, which seems to be on its way. May the changes that the Black Water Dragon of the Chinese calendar be merciful to you.

Happy Holidays

May the year 2011 be happy to all of you. May your achievements be appreciated. May your friends support you. May jolly smiles surround you. May phone numbers 101, 102 and 103 never be dialed. Wish you good luck!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

P.S. My blog activities have recently been reduced. Sorry about that. I have been busy sorting out the new English Literature course which is being delivered to Group 34-H, and preparing for the Argo Winter Camp Programme, which hasn't materialized though. Hope to be more regular this semester!

Merry Christmas, dear visitors, and may the evil never even come close to you! May the coming year be really happy and ten times more successful than this one! Take care and Godspeed!

WHY TWO CHRISTMASES?

Why do Roman Catholics and Protestants celebrate Christmas on December 25, and the members of the Russian Orthodox Church observe the holiday on January 7? Why different dates? Why December 25? Why january 7? Was Jesus Christ really born in winter? The answers to these questions are given in the article written by Kate Konstantinova of Group 43-E, which is published in the HYDE PARK, but can also be found HERE .

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Better late than never... But the ideas are great, aren't they? So, I wish you all the same!
