I love NZ!

There
are a lot of schools in Kyiv, some of them are just ordinary public schools,
some are specialized gymnasiums or lyceums for gifted pupils. But despite their amount
every school is like a unique world with its own rules and history. There are
always teachers whom everyone loves and whom everyone hates, a brilliant
student who wins every contest and a bully who is always close to being expelled.
Even every class is similar to a family – a homeroom teacher is usually like a
caring parent for his students, who sometimes form a really great collective
where everyone helps and supports each other.
The teachers here are true professionals.
Every lesson they prepare interesting material, explaining it not only by themselves,
but with the help of detailed presentations and videos from the Internet,
making each lesson a discussion between the teacher
and the students with the aim of learning
new things and improving their knowledge. Some students even want to go
further and explore new field of science, languages or other subjects by
writing a scientific work, which often gets a high place in the contest.
Each class is like a family indeed, mainly
because of our homeroom teachers, who often hang out somewhere with their
students, go to different cities and countries for excursions or just spend
time together after classes, building not only a student-teacher relationship,
but rather a friendship. The students are also very friendly and kind people,
who will help their fellow classmates with everything, telling them the
homework or passing them the paper with the answers on the test.
With that
said, I think it is quite obvious why lyceum “Naukova Zmina” is one of the best
schools in Kyiv and is so loved by all of its students, including me.
